The Rolls Royce Coachbuild: Boat Tail.
The Coachbuild is made up of 3 models built by Rolls Royce to present to the world Coachbuilding as a permanent fixture in their future portfolio. Rolls Royce states that "coachbuilding is a highly distilled expression of Rolls-Royce Bespoke, reserved for those who look to move beyond existing constraints". This hand-built project heavily involves its clients' involvements in designing the car to what they want. Featuring a boat-like design with the back lid that opens up to a perfect beach (champaign) picnic setup that comes with two chairs and a beach umbrella. The first was exhibited at Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este on October, 2021while the second will make its global public debut at Villa d’Este this year.
Rolls Royce Landspeed Collection.
The Rolls-Royce Landspeed Collection is limited to just 25 examples of Black Badge Dawn and 35 of Black Badge Wraith. This masterpiece draws inspiration from George Eyston’s remarkable life and the amazing achievements he has grasped. The design of the car is inspired by the unique, otherworldly landscape of the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah. As Rolls Royce is well known for their Starlight Headliner where customers have the option to customize them to resemble the stars on a significant day, Rolls Royce had the Black Badge Wraith Landspeed's Starlight Headliner perfectly recreated to resemble the stars in the sky that appeared over the Flats on 16 September 1938, the date on which Eyston and Thunderbolt set their third and final world land-speed record.
Rolls Royce Phantom Koa.
As the name suggests, the Phantom Koa is the first Rolls-Royce Phantom to incorporate Koa wood, a rare species of tree that grows only on the islands of Hawaii. The inspiration came from a particular car enthusiast, Jack Boyd Smith, Jr. and his wife Laura, who came to appreciate the warmth and unique characteristics of the Koa wood having spent significant amounts of time in Maui, Hawaii. This very rare species of tree, native to Hawaii, is protected by the U.S. government and can only be harvested from a handful of private estates. One Rolls Royce wood specialist describes the find a "one in a million chance". This car is now placed in Mr. Smith's collection of 60 unique cars in their personal collection museum.
Rolls Royce Temptus Collection.
Strictly limited to just 20 examples, this collection of Phantoms are inspired by the concept of space and time and how all of it, somehow or rather, can seemingly stand still all at once. As seen on the headliner, this design integrates themes and designs that reflect the cosmos and time. What can be seen is a rare astronomical phenomenon, the pulsar, unknown until 1967 and found only in the deepest reaches of space. These very dense, white-hot stars emit electromagnetic radiation in extremely regular pulses, making them a point of reference for some of the most accurate clocks in the universe.
The Rolls Royce Phantom Oribe.
A unique collaboration between Rolls-Royce and Hermès has co-created a Bespoke Phantom for Japanese entrepreneur, Yusaku Maezawa. Named Phantom Oribe, the car features a Bespoke two-tone exterior finish, inspired by the client’s world-class collection of ancient Japanese ceramics, known as Oribe ware. In an unusual move, the Rolls-Royce paint was made available for use on the client’s private jet that the Phantom is paired with. Most of the interior of this car is finished in Hèrmes Enea Green leather. Rolls Royce has had a long working relationship with Hèrmes and has produced a collection of uniquely bespoke and notable cars for notable clients.
Rolls Royce Cullinan 50th.
This one-of-a-kind Cullinan was created to mark the UAE’s historic Golden Jubilee in 2021. The exterior, finished in Crystal over Arctic White, was adorned with a hand-painted double coachline – the upper line in Hotspur Red, the lower Fame Green. The colors are made to resemble the colors of the National Flag of the UAE.
Bespoke Rolls Royce Wraith in Pebble Paradisio.
The Wraith in Pebble Paradisio blue was commissioned by a client based in Shanghai that reminiscent her "Shanghai seaside inspired paradise". A hand-painted coachline in a Seashell hue features a delicate orchid motif, symbolizing her passion for elegance. Inside this unique car, an artwork featuring a baby girl’s footprints is depicted on the Piano White monitor lid which pays tribute to the client’s long sought-after bundle of joy. A Bespoke Starlight Headliner continues the celebration with a personalised constellation paying tribute to her daughter. According to Rolls Royce, her car is her favorite escape as it symbolizes her way of life: Coastal hues, the infinite love of a child and the elegance and grace of orchids.
