Bacha Coffee brings as whole new wave of flavor!

Singapore is home to an abundance of food from all over the world (with great quality). Ranging from Michelin Stars to internationally acclaimed brands and local hawkers (with stars), there is never a shortage of good things to eat! Walking around town, I kept seeing this very interesting coffee shop with long lines called "Bacha Coffee" and it intrigued me. I thought it would be a waste of time for me to wait close to a half hour in a line and drink some coffee but my partner and I decided to go ahead anyway.

Upon entering, the place reminded me of TWG; the almost endless variety of coffee grounds, lots to shop for, and the unique concept of serving tea but here it's coffee. So I thought we were off to a great start and proceeded to put in an order for a nice afternoon "tea" on Easter Sunday. We ordered two pots of coffee (which were the Blue Mountain Mist and Montecristo), some croissants, and bought some stuff to enjoy at home.

Before long, it was our turn to be seated and the waitress brought us in and sat us at our table. Service was exceptional as she pulled our chairs for us and walked us through the menu. My partner nodded her head to the music and a very attentive waiter came to take our order. When the coffee was served, I was surprised how much better coffee could taste. Prior to this visit, my only coffee experiences were at cafes or Starbucks where there are some differences from one place to the other but I never felt it's full potential. Here, there's the whole taste experience and more! Coffee was served with Chantilly whipped cream on the side for additional creaminess and grinned Pure Tahiti Vanilla Beans to elevate the aroma of the coffee. It was fantastic and I've never felt so good drinking a cuppa.

The croissants were pretty good too! Of course, the fluffiness of the croissants don't come close to anything we've had in Paris but the unique flavors were certainly a treat! On top of that, some raw blossom honey dip was provided in which the honey was harvested from bees that exclusively pollinate coffee plants. According to Bacha Coffee, the "blossom honey is produced by apiaries within 1 km of the coffee plants and the harvest occurs immediately after the blossoms fall". I've almost always had croissants with butter but this experience was a whole new world to me.

Our trip there went swimmingly; the lines were cleared efficiently (event though it took 25 minutes, it's pretty common at good places in Singapore), the coffee experience was great and unique, and the overall experience of being there was splendid. This place is great for a relaxing cup of coffee, to catch up with friends, and even have a brief business discussion. However, my trip here won't be the last. I have yet to try many other coffee varieties, their blended beans to-go and of course more pastries. Hope to see what more they have to offer!
